"Congratulations to Luke, Megan and Sophia and all our Ontario Scholars for their remarkable achievements," said Marianne Mazzorato, Director of Education. "It takes tremendous dedication, focus and commitment on the part of these students to achieve this level of academic success. It is also a reflection of the support and guidance provided to them through their educators, parents and guardians, who inspired and encouraged them to prepare for post-secondary career pathways."

To be an Ontario Scholar, students must achieve an average of 80% or higher on their top six Grade 12 courses. This year, 3,933 91̽»¨ graduates earned this distinction.

"This year, we recognize our 7,115 91̽»¨ graduates who have fulfilled the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations and are ready to take on a new journey outside the familiar walls of their schools," added Marianne Mazzorato. "We are extremely proud of each and every one of them and wish them success and God's richest blessing as they move on to the next chapter in their lives."
